Make-up artist and eyelash expert Juliana Landis grew up in Liverpool, England, and it was there where her love affair with fashion, beauty, and glamour began. With a Malaysian father in the Navy and a Scottish mother in the theatre, Juliana was exposed to many different cultures as well as backstage life at a very young age.

In her early teens, Juliana attended a finishing school in England where she started her education in makeup application techniques. Soon after completing her early education, Juliana moved to Malaysia to be closer to her father and began commercial modeling. The next few years of modeling took her to Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, and although modeling was thrilling, she truly admired the makeup artists who surrounded her on a daily basis. She felt in her heart that makeup and the beauty industry were what she truly wanted to pursue as a career.

Following her dreams, Juliana returned to the UK to attend the prestigious London Esthetique College of Beauty Therapy and Makeup. Upon graduation, Juliana embarked on a career in the spa industry working in the exclusive Kensington area with high profile clients, taking care of their skin and makeup for special events. Continuing to follow her dreams, Juliana moved to Los Angeles, CA where she received her esthetician license and attended the Make-Up Designory (MUD.)

Since her arrival in the US, she has successfully gained a reputation and strong following for being the leader in make-up, brow shaping, and lash extensions. For Juliana, who operates her own studio in Hancock Park in Los Angeles, it is all about finding the right balance between looking "made up" and just looking radiant.

Prior to starting her own business in the Los Angeles area, Juliana had a coveted "station" at the renowned Beverly Hills Salon, UMBERTO, where she attracted a large and loyal following who sought out her services. Juliana has a private studio in the heart of Beverly Hills located at 338 N Canon Drive Suite 16, Second Floor, Beverly Hills 90210.

"It's not about changing a person's appearance but accentuating their positive features to put them in the best light," Landis says. "Whether its makeup, eyelash extensions, or brows - my satisfaction comes when a client looks in the mirror and exclaims, 'Wow, I look great!' "
